The number one issue expressed by Vermonters is Affordability. All other issues are intertwined around this basic concern.
During my first biennium in the State House, constituents in Windham-1 have contacted me about a number of issues, including
- increased taxes and rising costs
- the coming education transformation
- land use issues (Act 250, Act 181, S.325)
- health care costs
- impacts of the current federal agenda
- as well as about my vote on particular bills or actions

In the legislature, I see that there is broad, non-partisan agreement around work to improve the lives of Vermonters. During the 2025-26 biennium, I supported work to address taxes, health care costs, education costs, housing and community development, land use planning, and homelessness.
As representative for Windham-1, I work to advance the best interests residents in Guilford and Vernon. I bring my leadership experience and collaborative spirit to the work at hand. I am committed to finding sensible solutions to address the challenges that concern us all.

I will focus on affordability as I work to:
Stabilize current property tax burdens
Preserve the character of our towns and prescious landscapes
Safeguard the education of our kids by advocating for communuity-led decision-making
Protect our right to affordable healthcare, while working to reduce costs
Support working families and aging Vermonters with reasonable, affordable housing solutions
